As the first-ever Overwatch League event in Canada, the 2022 edition of the OWL: Summer Showdown brought the league’s biggest teams to compete in a tournament hosted by the Toronto Defiant at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto, ON. Taking place over 4 days, the show featured a massive “fan-zone” activation and a collegiate “challengers” tournament area in addition to the main stage.
